I grew up in the small town of East Wenatchee, Washington where I graduated from Eastmont High School in 1989.  I attended and played baseball for Walla Walla Community College in 1990.  I was offered a full ride scholarship to pitch for Washington State University by one of the greatest coaches on earth in Bobo Brayton and played for him in 1991, 92, and 93.  I received my 4 year degree in Recreation Administration and Kinesiology while I was trying to make it in the minor league system.  

I purchased Athletic Repair Service in Canby, Oregon in 1997, which was the only licensed football reconditioning facility located in Oregon and I ran that business for 8 years until Riddell purchased my customer list and hired me as a full time employee in 2004.  Riddell has improved in every aspect of their business since I have been with them.  Riddell helmets and Shoulder Pads are on the cutting edge of technology and they are products that athletes are asking about!  One of the main services I provide is the reconditioning and sanitization of existing football helmets and shoulder pads. Our uniform business took a turn in the right direction back in 2013 and I am now more than proud to show these products to potential customers and I have been making headway in the jersey market even though I am in the back yard of Nike Headquarters.  In 2014 I was lucky enough to win the 2nd annual "Tom Klepeck" award from Riddell, which is given to the person with the biggest growth in sales throughout all of our categories. 

With the diminishing budgets from the schools and the focus the last few years on football safety I have been receiving a tremendous amount of interest in personal purchases of helmets and shoulder pads, along with the concern from the parent and athlete regarding these products actually fitting properly.  I do not charge for this personal fitting service and the investment when purchased through me is significantly less than through the Riddell website.

I still own Athletic Repair Service (manufacturing and repairing high jump pits, pole vault pits, gym wall pads, football blocking bags, sanitizing of athletic equipment with our Sports-O-Zone machine, weight room bench recovering, and custom vinyl and foam padding for hard surfaces of any kind).
